Friday night

My last shift was on Friday before leaving to VN woopoooooo!!!!!!

After HUGGEEE debates over where Flinders Lane was, we discovered surprisingly Delphia was right.. Went Chin Chin to see whether the Urbanspoon hype was true and it IS nice and all but some of the flavours are way too strong for me!!! Gav and I shared the caramelised pork belly, Phil and Mez had the king fish and Lina had the barramundi and pork. The price was okay but servings were quite small. Then we went to watch CATCHING FIRE OMG I WAS SO PUMPED FOR IT. It's hard to understand but not to worry as I have a bf who is into film n media n shit so he makes sure that I fully understand it by the end. I think out of all of us, only Gav understood the film. Phil pretended her dd but he ain't fooling me. But I'm SO ANGRY BECAUSE IT WAS GETTING CLIMATIC AND SUDDENLY ENDED WITH A CLIFFHANGER... Like there was no resolution to the problem??????? So now I gotta wait for another year until the third one comes out

Thursday nite

CHINA BARRRR!!!! With family and fam friends! We went to the one in Burwood and it had SOOOSOOO much selection! There was a sushi bar, dumpling area, salads, seafood (including my fave OYSTERS), Peking duck, pork belly, a noodle station where you code your own ingredients and they made it on the spot n more!!!!!!!!! Really want to take Gav here but the price is way too expensive.

I've never been this poor because I've always made sure to have AT LEAST $500 in the bank in case of an emergency. I had 1k in the bank before I stopped working for two months and SOMEHOW it went down to $450 (I didn't even have a social life wth..?) And on top of that when I went to pay for the airline ticket with mum she could only withdraw her maximum amount per day which was 1k meaning I had to pay the other $350 so I only had $100..... At this point I was feeling super worried cause I still haven't worked. Then I asked mum for the $350 and in exchange I'll pay for my using money there AND AFTER FORMAL N SHIT I NOW ONLY HAVE $44.58

Today I went to school to buy formal photos and to sell my Chem checkpoints and summer dress. I made $35 which I spent all plus a bit of Gav's mula on a pair of Sportsgirl sunnies!!!!! I AM SO IN LOVE WITH THEM!!! I originally wanted Tony B but my card would not be able to afford it (pay day pls come sooner!!!!!!!) Gav is now super obsessed with gaming he even bought this card thing for legit Australian dollars to exchange for Maple Story money LIKE WTHHHH???????..... Anyway We went for dumplings and noodles AND I AM STILL SICK N FULL FROM IT. Their plate of noodles are far too big I actually want to complain. Met up with Marina and Delphia for some foursome action and now I want to find that cartoon app Mez has.

Everyday feels like a Saturday

But today is legit a Saturday (I'm so confused) ANYWAY I COLLECTED MY VN TICKET TODAY AND IM LEAVING IN LIKE SEVEN DAYS LIKE WOW IT IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING$$$$$$$$$$!! I worked from 3-10pm (yup so dead) and it was my FAVEEEEE manager's bday (why would you ever work on your bday idk...)

OH forgot to mention after I got my tickets down Smith St, the lady told mum and I about a massive shoe same nearby so we went with dad and the whole time he kept commenting on how the heels are too high and when he tried to pick out "nice" ones- they were so fob (omg trust) All shoes were $20 !!!! There were a few of TonyB and Verali and I ended up getting a pair of GORGEOUS WHITE ONES (I'll upload the tan version underneath)

GAV'S FORMAL

Way way wayyyyyyy shitter than mine (soz Gav) There was NO DFLOOR!!! Well there was but it only consisted of songs back in the bloody 1980s/90s like YMCA n shit. Anyway, after Mez and Phil came to our hotel on Thursday morning, I went to the apartment to get my make up and hair done by Cara. I LOVED IT!!!! I didn't want to spend too much money for Gav's formal so I got it done by Cara instead of Mac and it was sooo worth it! Only $40 for hair and make up and surprisingly the hair stayed with hardly any hairspray!????? Rushed back to Gav's to change then went to Tony where we all maxi cabbed it. The food was OK..... There were a lot more people because it was a graduation dinner where parents were invited which probably explains the shitty old music...... Gav was so pissed off AAHAH

ANYWAY ALTHOUGH IT WAS SHIT I STILL ENJOYED IT BECAUSE I WAS WITH MY BABY PLUS FREE FOOD FOR ME SINCE I DIDNT PAY SO Y NOT

I swear formals are bloody stressful especially when it's two days after Gav's last exam. My arms are still dead so I'm going to dot point this shit-

10AM Patty's house where her mum did my hair!!! It looked soooo good but by the night the blow waves were gone because my hair sucks and it was super bloody windy

12PM Met up with Gav and was half an hour late (I AM SOOO SORRY MIHARDJA) Pet peeve: people who are late/when I'm late ughhhh!!!!! Anyway we checked in early at Parkview Hotel and thank god they let us!!

2PM KFC $5 DEAL CAUSE WE RICH ATM

3PM Went to MAC Chapel St to get make up done. I FUCKING LOVEDDDDD ITTTTT SOOO RECOMMENDED CAUSE YOU GET TO REDEEM THE $95 ON PRODUCTS!!!!!!!!! But far outttt Mac is super pricey. I only got four things including the lashes she put on me and I had to pay an extra $23 on top of $95

5PM Back to the hotel and plucked Gav's wild eyebrows. Then we got dressed and last minute realised that his newly bought belt did not fit....UGH TRUST GAV TO BUY SHIT THAT DOESNT FIT. That's why you should only go shopping with me you douche. Anyway, we found sharp objects in the hotel plus my tweezers and spent a good long hour on making a hole in the belt. STRESSED ASSSSSSS FK

6PM YELLOW LIMO-ED (TAXI) OUR WAY THERE

7PM Arrived at the Brighton International!!!! It was small but beautiful! Music was good and we LOVED THE DFLOOR OMG. Thank god for wedges that I survived the night. Everyone looked amazing!!!! We had a photobooth as well and there's nothing better than free unlimited photos. The food was really nice as well! The formal OVERALL WAS REALLY GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

11PM Stole someone's taxi and returned back to the hotel 

12AM Alli and Pete were also staying at the hotel so they crashed a bit. Serious discussions over one particular dude n sex.

Then met yo with Gav to buy two shirts, shoes and a tie and bow tie!!! And unexpectedly we actually found everything phew!!! AND GAV ALMOST GOT SCAMMED!! So party ppl- everyone check your emails and if you get some email from the "Australian Taxation office" for tax return DOUBLE CHECK THE DODGINESS. Apparently Gav could claim back his $430 and we were sooo excited because he doesn't even work so it was pretty much random money coming to him BUT NO. We found out it was a stupid scam because the link was dodgy and it was from a random email as well. Super shattered.

Thursday- Gave my CAS to reception to sell it (FINGERS CROSSED SOMEONE ACTUALLY BUYS IT !! Plsssss) Then Chapz street with mumzzzz ma bfffffff for a formal dress for G's formal. Had no luck. Totally shatz. Then work wewwwww mula 

Friday- Massive 9.00-4.30 shift!!!!! Then, as promised, took Jas to city Daiso to buy her two things from Daiso. She lost her train-virginity and her Tutti-Fruiti virginity. That girl is growing way too fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today- BIG SHOPPING DAY WITH MICH!!!! Was feeling super stressed for Gav's formal dress! Went South Warf DFO then Chapel St then back to MC- my legs are so dead. Managed to spend less than expected!

Dress- random place down Chapel who kept lowering the price without me even saying anything $60

Shoes- Lipstick simple heel WHITE OMG LOVE MONOCHROME $46 plus the cushion so my toes are comfy $10 !!
