Gav's gathering

O m g. I legit felt like I was a mother and my child was having a party. I was pretty stressed. We spent $200 on alcohol and food which is cheaper than I thought but even then, it was too much! We got Smirnoff, rum and 4 bags of goon lawl. Even typing up their names makes me wanna munt. I can't remember much but it was good seeing everyone and seeing people getting along! And I never wanna drink that much again (hmmm nye hmmm loljkz)

And!! It was so thoughtful of people who brought food and those who helped with a bit of cleaning/ cooking it means a lot!

Boxing Day!

Mum and I spent $200 and I'm pretty satisfied with what I got! For myself- Kookai top ($25) and frill midi skirt ($35), 3 basic Valleygirl tops ($5) and a Temt top ($3.50), Portman sandals ($16), Sportgirls clutch ($5) and handbag ($20). Pretty much all those were at least half price! It was so packed and it was the biggest drainer waiting in line to try on clothes and then to also line up to pay. Went shopping from 11am-6.30pm omfg what a day.

Even after more than two years with Gav, I still find myself getting excited seeing him. And I still tear up reading his cards. For Christmas, he sent me letters he wrote each day I was away in Vietnam and I don't think any money could get me a more perfect present.

Christmas Day!

A very simple Christmas but I had heaps of fun seeing my Gavy! He was sick (apparently) and didn't open his mouth all day, instead he just hummed yes/ no (who did you hook up with fgt). Since no restaurants were open, we had our own little BBQ. Then back to his to open presents! This year, we were both broke so we agreed on $20 max presents. I got his LED ikea lights since he can't sleep without the light on and it's only 2 watts which is a lot better than using his desk lamp. I got us a massage gift card to spoil ourselves as I also made a sentimental gift- Emergency Car Kit ehehe. We had a massive sleep (omfg it was so FKN good) then Binh invited us over for a BBQ. Had a couple to drink and it still hasn't left the system fml. Gav drove me home to make it to family dinner! Christmas is best when you spend it with loved ones ❤️

Christmas Eve!

This year was quite depressing since we didn't do a family Christmas party like we always do on Christmas Eve so I didn't get to hang out with Mich and Marty, instead the family went for Asian (only Vic St was open on Xmas eve after 10pm)

I feel like I haven't properly blogged so here's how I've been.

-I have applied for so many jobs BUT NO LUCK...until this morning! I got a missed call from a random number (I should really stop putting my phone on silent/ airplane so no one can wake me up). Turns out it was Sumo Salad. I had the interview this afternoon and I'd like to say it was successful! We got along pretty well and she seemed happy with me! It doesn't even phase me that the pay is probably $12p/hr cause I'm that desperate 

-I spent a couple of hours doing GAV'S prasent and card and I hope he is as happy with it as I am!!! (I should be an artist or someshit  why am I so artistic)

-current obsessions: midis, nude nail polish, platforms, sunglasses, bracelets (but no $$$)

-went thrift shopping the other with Mich and Dina and it was the biggest bargain! Savers in Mill Park is closing down so it was an extra 50%. Got a knitted jumper, sleeveless top, collared shirt, bracelet and necklace for $12!!!!! Very proud. 

-we made the most out of our daily Myki ($6 pains me omfg) and got on the bus to Northlands but it did a whole motherfkn detour around Melbourne so it took us an hour..........

-I'm trying to be healthy l o l

-I'm feeling super poor. Can't even get mum a nice XMAS present. Couldn't spoilt Gav like previous years :( WHY CANT I BE RICH YET

-I'm really loving my BodyShop cleansing routine! Pricey but definitely worth it !!

-OK GOOD NEWS Y'ALL!! Myki next year is getting rid of extra charges for travelling to zone 2! My poor lil Gavy can pay $65 for a monthly now rather than $90+! Which means travelling to Gav's is $3.60 rather than $6!! I was expecting MYKI prices to increase heaps but it only increased by like 10-20c

-I have witnessed a few tragic deaths... Caused by GAV that evil bitch. Eversince I gave him the electric fly zapper racket, he's been zapping them. And even when they've obviously died, he continues to electrocute them omfg so evil but so satisfying 

-Gav and I have been doing home meals and in proud of us! Love him so much omgosh

Thank God for Gav or I would not have been able to complete it! It was a very hard workout and I can't believe I completed it seeing how unfit I am. Next time- we're going up the harder way!

Weekly update!

I miss Vietnam so much! Would do anything to be back again! 

Caught up with everyone this week and pretty much I've been trying to eat healthy! Will start excercising soon.....hmmm.....

Everything is so clean an sanitised here, I love it! But I really do miss the people in Vietnam, and can't wait to fly back there again next year. I can't bring myself to sort out my clothes from my luggage cause I'm feeling so lazy.
Things I gotta do (REAL SOON)
-clean room, sort luggage
-give out VN souvenirs/ gifts
-apply for new jobs and actually get one
-buy BodyShop cleansing creams and start taking better care of my skin (it got so bad in VN fml)
-going for daily runs and start ab training
-eating healthier (no more fast food from now on...or maybe just once a month hey)

Vietnam Day 22!

Last day in Vietnam but it didn't feel like it at all! I wasn't as upset at the airport as I would usually be but probably cause I plan to come back again next year! WOOO!!!! Anyway, I spent the last day seeing everyone and saying my goodbyes and I honestly love my family over there so much, such wonderful people I swear! I had 40kg of luggage and I was dreading going through customs in Australia. At the airport, some guy got off the taxi and the taxi driver immediately drive off with all his luggage inside and THAT'S JUST FKED. Omfg thank god that didn't happen to me but God bless that boy. The 8 hour flight was uncomfortable and I had a slight fever which made it horrible. Food was also shit. All in all, I only like planes when it's travelling from Australia to VN- best feeling!

Vietnam Day 21!

My second last day in Vietnam! My aunt prepared a family gathering to celebrate my last days in Vietnam and the food was amazing! So much love for my family in Vietnam omg. My cousins and I all headed off to clubbing that night and o m g it was the funniest experience ever. We went to two elite clubs. The clubs had mini high tables to drink with mates and to dance as well as a main stage to dance as well. There were sooooo many security guards and the bartenders at each table were so friendly! DJ was ...S H I T...... The songs played were so bad. The only decent song played was Animals And that was probably the latest song they played. Who let the dogs out was also played which made me laugh. Also, people can't dance for shit. (Not like I can talk but...??? The way they danced is how I imagine my parents dancing) The bartenders poured the tiniest shots, it legit only filled 1/8 of the shot glass so I was able to take 15+ shots and still surviving. I can't believe I didn't go clubbing earlier. I'm DEFS doing clubbing every weekend when I'm back in VN! And they had old ladies at the toilets to give our toilet paper and look after drunk girls which I found adorable! AND they hired "slutty" dancers can't dance for shit omfg I cringed so hard but all in all GR9 XPERIENCE
