Vietnam Day 8!
I lost my motherfkn eyelash curler and you actually don't realise how precious it is until you lose it. Had bo bittet for brekkie, mi hieu tieu for lunch and went fine dining for dinner!!!! We went to Runam Bistro and the food was fkn amazing, the vibe was even better! Such a beautiful place in Saigon! Went for duck thigh with sautéed mushrooms and steamed buns and shared chips with three special sauces with my cousin who went for the Runam special rice! All up it costed $25 which is really expensive for VN but pretty normal for an average meal in Aus. Then we went to the market where it sold clothing, jewellery, pork skin??lol?? Just came back from the supermarket and it was intense. There's so many people omfg. The car park is crazyyyy packed. Bought two types of crackers, fish balls and coconut ice cream for $7- I'm loving how cheap things are here!!!

Vietnam Day 7!
Com tam for brekkie then I pretty much knocked out cause I was so tired from the wedding. Had bo bittet for lunch then relaxed with a head massage. I had a few strands of eyebrow hairs that usually I get Gav to pluck for me (after hardcore begging) because it feels so good and I got the head massager to do for me and she charged me 10c THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER (Gav you've been replaced) Went for mi xiao don (crispy fried noodles), fried octopus and bo luc lac (beef with chippies). Finished the night off with I Love Kem (Viet version of Tutti Frutti)

I'M FREAKING STOKED
I got my credit points for every subject.....HOW DID THIS HAPPEN??? IDK
THERE IS A GOD THANK U
Vietnam Day 6!
It was my cousin's wedding and the day was so busy hecktic. Started off with the engagement ceremony at 9am, mass at 3.30pm then the reception at 6.00pm. Since I was the bridesmaid, I had barely any breaks to relax and I was freaking starving. So I can't imagine how the bride would have felt! The make up artist was super gay and we had to call him "chi" which was pretty hard for me to do cause I'm so used to just calling any dude anh/ chu. Which just takes me to the point of how Vietnam is so complicated with ways of say you/ me (eg chi/em/anh/chu ect). When we eat out they all call me chi even though some are defs older than me and I feel so weird calling a 30 year old woman, em instead of co/bac. Anyway- the decorations of the were so typical of Viets and the make up artist was shit. Vietnam still goes for the "white/ pale" make up look which I hate! And the guy put in contacts for the bride that was already used by another client which is by far the most dangerous and unhygienic thing ever!!!!!!! Food was actually nice! I'm starting to appreciate goi (Viet salad)! Wearing a long tight dress and sitting a motorbike was the hardest thing ever and traffic in Vietnam is so crazy I love it! People are so desperate that they don't even abide to the red light and just keep going and when the traffic is bad, they drive on the pedestrian pathways. Imagine if we could do that in Aus! Didn't get to enjoy the reception because I had to sit outside and greet guests (lol never again). After the wedding, we were all so starving so we went for midnight dinner for some mi vit tiem and freshly squeezed oj!
By the end of the night, I died.
Vietnam Day 5!
Today, I lost faith in humanity. I got a $1 meal with xoi man, banh flan and a watermelon smoothie (so fkn cheap omg) but there were ants in the rice and dessert.....I was so put off. I freaked out cause I already are some of the rice and my cousin was just like?????this is normal????sometimes I see ants in my food too???? THE FKKKKK?! That's so unhygienic. We went to the market to buy fake lashes and glue and we got scammed with an empty glue bottle. And unlike Australia, I can't go back and complain for a refund (even though it was $1 BUT STILL) Finished off the day with Pizza Hut again because we couldn't find Dominoes. Another lowlight of today was that I saw a mouse and it was the size of Cloud, Gav's kitten FKN HUGE

Vietnam Day 2!
Had bo bitet for breakfast, got my eyebrows tattooed, a banquet for dinner and Ben Thanh market! Everything is so fkn cheap.
Vietnam Day 1!
I was over my baggage limit by 20kg so it was the biggest hassle and on top of that mum packed a good 7kg of clothes in my Country Road bag which made it sooooo difficult to get on the plane. The 8 hour flight was painful and so uncomfortable cause I was sitting in the middle four seater rather than the window seat. I made friends with this international student and our conversations helped the flight time go by faster. The plane food was so shit. I had to pay $10 for bringing 20kg of beef (ultra bullshit) and I got scammed by a fkn taxi driver as well. For dinner I had bot chien, it was freaking amazing.

:(
I'm actually going to miss everyone! You never realise how much friends and family mean until you actually gotta leave them. Seriously don't know how I'm gonna survive without seeing Gav for three weeks because that little fuck needs me to constantly watch over him
